Asparagus & Apple Baby Food Puree

Age: 6 months +

Nutritional Benefits: Very good source of fiber, Vitamin C, Vitamin E and Protein.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 apple
  • 4 asparagus spears
  • Vegetable stock
  • 1/2 washed and peeled carrot

Instructions:

  • Peel and core apple and add to small saucepan with asparagus and carrot.
  • Cover apple and veggies with vegetable stock and bring to a boil and simmer for 5-6 minutes.
  • Scoop the apple, carrot and asparagus into a food processor or blender and puree until smooth, adding as much of the stock needed until the desired consistency is reached.
